REINVENTING
WORKPLACE LEARNING
IN-HOUSE CORPORATE UNIVERSITY

A CORPORATE UNIVERSITY IS THE MOTOR THAT SENIOR MANAGEMENT USES TO ALIGN THEIR ORGANISATION AND GET THEIR PROFESSIONALS TO CLEARLY UNDERSTAND THE COMPANY’S STRATEGY (WHAT TO DO, HOW, WHEN AND WHY) AND THEREFORE ENSURE THE SUCCESSFUL EXECUTION OF KEY BUSINESS PROCESSES AND PROJECTS.

A CORPORATE UNIVERSITY (CU) IS NOT A SET OF CANNED TRAINING NOR AN ASSORTMENT OF VIRTUAL TRAINING. A CU INVOLVES STRATEGY, PURPOSE, AND CLEAR LEARNING PATHS TO MAKE EMPLOYEES DEVELOP THE RIGHT SET OF SKILLS NEEDED FOR THE EXPECTED PERFORMANCE AND WHERE THE DELIVERY METHOD IS A COMBINATION OF DIFFERENT MEDIA, NOT ONLY VIRTUAL. SOME OF THE WORLD’S MOST ADMIRED COMPANIES HAVE BEEN OPERATING THEIR OWN CORPORATE UNIVERSITIES SINCE THE DAWN OF THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION.

Some fundamental benefits of a Corporate University are:

  • • Ensure a high-performance culture and organisational sustainability
  • • Accelerate understanding and successful implementation of strategic priorities
  • • Drive excellence in execution of core business processes and activities
  • • Develop organisational capabilities
  • • Create a culture of learning and multi-functional collaboration
  • • As the main vehicle for communicating and transferring industry best practices
Intelego knows these challenges, we have helped more than 44 companies to define their goals and expected outcomes. We have also helped them translate their business strategies into learning tactics and moreover to focus their resources on the right areas.

Interactive Lego
Maps® (ILM®)

This is one of our star products. It is a series of animated (or printed) illustrations that explain processes or highly complex content in a visual manner that is engaging and easy to understand. The amount and type of information that ILM® contains varies according to the nature of the content. When ILM®s are animated (which is usually the case) they also include links to specific tools needed for each step of the process and remarks regarding KPIs or expected outcomes.

E-learning

Our e-learning products are not only animated text or hypertext. We design our learning products so as not to bore but to engage and inspire the learner allowing him or her to enjoy learning at their own pace.

Learning games

A much requested product by clients who have defined blended learning as a priority. We work with internal subject matter experts to develop business cases, and create highly challenging games which must be solved in real time by individual teams. Our clients love this product because teams have not only demonstrated clearly improved task performance but at the same time they have developed collateral competences such as effective communication, negotiation skills, leadership and teamwork skills.

Train the trainer’s activation kit

Our clients often ask Intelego to undertake the delivery of our courses, a service which we are happy to provide through our highly experienced facilitators. However, we understand the importance of developing and retaining knowledge in-house. For that reason we also design and develop effective TTT kits with detailed guides which enable training to be delivered by in-house personnel. Typically TTT kits include, but are not limited to:

  • • Instructor guides
  • • Instructor materials
  • • Participant workbooks/handouts
